Fondée en 2000, l’Académie des technologies rassemble 370 académiciennes et académiciens, dont cinq prix Nobel, tous expertes et experts dans leurs domaines respectifs, et issus d’horizons très divers : monde de la recherche industrielle et académique, économistes, sociologues, architectes, médecins... Elle analyse les opportunités et les risques liés aux nouvelles technologies, et s’engage à améliorer l’attractivité des métiers technologiques, en particulier auprès des jeunes et des femmes.
