However, the significant surface of pitched roofs remains out of reach to inhabitants and worsens the urban heat island effect. Roofscapes has the mission to transform untapped rooftops into green and accessible spaces to mitigate the effects of climate change in cities, create biodiversity anchors and provide new outdoor shared spaces.

Malheureusement, la surface considérable des toits en pente est aujourd’hui inaccessibles aux habitants et participe à l’aggravation des phénomènes d’îlots de chaleurs urbains. Roofscapes à pour mission d’adapter ces toits en espaces accessibles et végétalisés, pour atténuer les effets du dérèglement climatique en ville, développer des ancres de biodiversité urbaine et créer de nouveaux espaces extérieurs de vivre-ensemble.
