CLUBZERØ is a ‘Packaging as a Service’ platform providing offices, education spaces, sports arenas, events and restaurants across the UK, Ireland & U.S. a sustainable and scalable option beyond single-use.

Annually, a staggering 650 billion disposable food and beverage containers are used but a meagre 9% are successfully recycled. The majority end up in landfills, polluting our oceans or destroying people’s habitats. Despite the availability of alternatives like compostables/biodegradables, recycling remains ineffective due to contamination, with high levels of methane and GHG emissions being released when packaging decomposes.

CLUBZERØ was launched in 2018 to meet the demand of customer convenience by providing a truly sustainable, zero waste alternative to single-use. We have pioneered an award-winning smart reuse system that combines returnable packaging, drop point infrastructure and tracking technology to ensure packaging is used in perpetuity. As a design-led team, we have extensively invested in research and development, refining our service based on field feedback, and offering a purpose-fit solution rather than a generic, off-the-shelf alternative.

Our packaging designs have been awarded a D&AD pencil and our work was showcased at the Design Museum’s Waste Age Exhibition. The CLUBZERØ brand is recognised globally as a market leader in reuse innovation.

To date, CLUBZERØ has served 30,000+ customers, selling 1.3 million+ servings of food and beverages, saving 2.6 million+ items of single-use plastics and 39 tonnes of CO2 from entering the atmosphere. We aim to sell 8 million servings equalling savings of 16 million items of single-use plastics from landfills and 240 tonnes of CO2 from entering the atmosphere by 2024.
