FUTUR is hét landelijke netwerk van én voor jonge ambtenaren die werkzaam zijn bij overheidsorganisaties in Nederland. FUTUR brengt jonge ambtenaren met elkaar in contact voor netwerkvorming, uitwisseling van kennis, ervaring en ideeën.
FUTUR streeft naar vernieuwing van de overheidsorganisatie en naar een beter imago van de overheid als werkgever. FUTURisten zijn bevlogen, betrokken, ambitieus en meer dan gemiddeld geïnteresseerd in ontwikkelingen binnen de maatschappij, de politiek en vooral de overheid. Het openbaar bestuur, in al haar complexiteit, heeft onze bijzondere aandacht.
De jonge ambtenaren in onze doelgroep zijn werkzaam bij de rijksoverheid (ministeries, zelfstandige bestuursorganen, Hoge Colleges van Staat, Rechterlijke Macht), de decentrale overheid (provincies, stadsregio’s, waterschappen en gemeenten), wetenschappelijke instellingen, het onderwijs, de politie en ook bij politieke partijen.
