Description
  • Value proposition

Black Dog Salvage is an architectural salvage company based in Roanoke, VA. The company was founded in 1998 by owners Mike Whiteside and Robert Kulp. The business is home to TV's "Salvage Dawgs" which can be seen on the DIY Network.

Black Dog Salvage has two warehouses in Roanoke, Virginia, the main sales showroom and the receiving warehouse. Discover architectural salvage, old house parts, custom upcycled designs, reproduction garden statuary, furniture paint, salvage inspired furniture and decor in our main showroom. Curated regional artisans and vendors add a constantly changing mix of new, vintage, and antique home decor.

Black Dog Salvage is also known for their upcycled designs and their global salvage mission to prevent architectural gems from ending up in landfills. With a full metal and woodworking shop on site, the shop team is always breathing new life and creativity into reclaimed or salvaged pieces to repurpose them into upcycled designs. As Mike says, we want to "save the world, one salvage job at a time".
