La Cité des télécoms de Pleumeur-Bodou a ouvert ses portes en 1991 au pied du Radôme, cette immense bulle blanche de 64 mètres de diamètre.
Impressionnant de l’extérieur, le Radôme l’est encore plus une fois à l’intérieur.

C’est avec cette installation aux dimensions pharaoniques qu’une étape importante de l’histoire des télécommunications fut franchie le 11 Juillet 1962 : la 1ère retransmission d’images télévisées par satellite.
Aujourd’hui classés « Monument Historique », le Radôme et son antenne vous racontent leur histoire au travers d’un spectacle « son et lumière » projeté à l’intérieur même du Radôme.
