Blazing the way to net zero with leading CCS research.
We advance technology to accelerate project development

We are at the forefront of cutting-edge carbon, capture and storage (CCS) research. We advance technology that reduces carbon emissions and accelerates the deployment and deployment of CCS projects by improving processes, reducing costs, and overcoming barriers.

Our authoritative research is peer-reviewed and widely used by governments and industry worldwide. As CCS technology specialists, we regularly input to organisations such as the IPCC and UNFCCC, contributing to the global net-zero transition.

We believe that sharing knowledge is vital to achieving net zero. That's why we host the world's leading CCS conference, the Greenhouse Gas Control Technologies Conference (GHGT) and many other events throughout the year. These bring together top experts from across the field to further the development of CCS technology.

As a not-for-profit technology collaboration programme of the International Energy Agency, we are committed to:
    • Uphold the highest research standards.
    • Fuel collaboration between the government, industry and academia.
    • Deliver integrated, cost-effective solutions that drive down carbon emissions.
