The Technovation program is an international mobile application creation competition that aims to develop technology and entrepreneurship skills among girls aged 10 to 18. Le programme Technovation est une compétition internationale de création d’applications mobiles qui vise à développer les compétences en technologie et en entrepreneuriat chez les jeunes filles de 10 à 18 ans. Créé à Silicon Valley aux États-Unis en 2009, le concept existe à Montréal depuis 2014. Des équipes formées de deux à cinq participantes accompagnées de mentors vont développer une idée d’application répondant à un problème ou un besoin identifié dans leur communauté, à élaborer un plan d’affaires et à créer un prototype tout en apprenant les bases de la programmation.
