Brockholes is an award-winning, floating conference venue set in the heart of a stunning 250 acre nature reserve near Preston.

Owned and managed by The Lancashire Wildlife Trust, all profits from conference bookings are invested into The Trust’s conservation work on the reserve itself. Our conference facilities have been specifically designed with an emphasis on sustainability and environmental performance; the ideal choice for any business looking to go green.

Brockholes’ floating design makes it the only venue of its kind in the UK. The conference centre, which can seat up to 130 delegates, floats on a lake within a cluster of eco-buildings, nestled amongst the reeds. It is built on a 2,400 square metre concrete pontoon that sits on top of the water and incorporates only the highest environmental standards, as well as bringing you closer to nature.

Brockholes provides an inspirational setting for corporate events, with many businesses exploring the reserve during comfort breaks or even during team building events. A series of bespoke team building sessions can be offered by the Lancashire Wildlife Trust’s highly experienced Education Team.
