    Scottish Huntington's Association is the only charity in Scotland exclusively dedicated to supporting families impacted by Huntington's disease.
    It does this through a nationwide network of HD Specialists,, Youth Advisors and Financial Wellbeing Officers.
    Huntington's is a hereditary neurological condition that causes severe physical and mental symptoms which can leave people unable to walk, talk, eat or swallow. It impairs thinking processes and may lead to serious mental illlness.
    There are around 1100 people with Huntington's in Scotland with further 4000 potentially at risk of developing the incurable disease.
