The CAPCA was born in 2017 as a intercommunal project aiming to develop the territory, by uniting its townships to achieve what a single municipality couldn't carry on its own. Today, the CAPCA represents 42 cities for a total of 45 000 residents. Located in the french Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes area, the CAPCA develops itself nearby the Rhône valley and the Pont d'Arc adorned cave, registered to the UNESCO World Heritage List. Between the south of France and the well-known Massif Central, the CAPCA is a territory in the heart of the Ardèche county enjoying a strong natural and architectural heritage.Original language

Créée le 1er janvier 2017, la Communauté d'Agglomération Privas Centre Ardèche (CAPCA) est un projet intercommunal du développement du territoire et peut réaliser, grâce à la solidarité de ses communes membres, ce qu'une commune seule ne pourrait pas porter. A ce jour, la CAPCA est composée de 42 communes réunissant environ 45 000 habitants.
En région Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes, la CAPCA évolue à proximité de la vallée du Rhône et de la caverne ornée du Pont d'Arc, inscrite au patrimoine mondial de l'UNESCO. Entre influences méditerranéennes (aux portes du sud de la France) et continentales (au sud-est du massif central), la CAPCA est un territoire au cœur de l'Ardèche qui bénéficie d'un patrimoine naturel et architectural riche.
