Why do people get into their car every day to pick up their (Marketplace or auction) purchase? While there are thousands of empty cars and vans on the road. What a bizarre waste of time, money and CO2!

We want to prevent this waste. No “CO2 reduction” or “CO2 neutral”. Over the past 100 years, we have depleted the earth to such an extent that becoming CO2 neutral as a company is no longer sufficient. We have some catching up to do. That's why we focus for climate-positive delivery at PickThisUp. Every transport or delivery should make the world a little bit better. That's what gets us out of bed in the morning.

How do we do that? Since 2015, PickThisUp has helped nearly 100,000 consumers with the delivery of large, bulky or fragile items. From bed, sofa, bicycle to washing machine or scooter. From, for example, Marktplaats or auction websites such as Troostwijk Auctions. We do this through private individuals, courier and transport companies that are already on the road. This way, someone who is already going that way earns an extra income, the consumer has a cheap delivery and nature receives a little less CO2.
