Hopspots combines learning with movement and play!

CxD is the producer of interactive and engaging learning environments for children. Our aim is to combine movement with learning as studies show that pupils learn better and more when participating actively with their bodies in classroom teaching. This is done by combining the physical elements of play with a digital layer in new interactive products.

CxD launched its first product in 2016: Hopspots. Hopspots is an interactive learning tool consisting of 12 wireless physical spots that are connected to an app on iPad and a speaker system. Using the spots, light, sound and 6 different games children are empowered to move and play, and thus become actively engaged in their learning. The Hopspots' games are developed for 2-15 year-old children and challenge on many different levels e.g. movement, language learning, programming, cognitive training etc. Hopspots furthermore allows children to become digital co-creators of their own learning content, for example by recording their own sounds in the games. In that way the games can be customized to suit the individual needs of children.
