EFVA ATTLING has lived a multitude of incredible lives before returning to her original passion of jewelry making. Quite the star in her native Stockholm, Efva is recognized for her work as a model, her music, and her magazine industry stint.

Efva made her first piece of jewelry when she was eleven years old. At the age of sixteen she was a pupil of one of Sweden’s greatest silversmiths, Bengt Liljedahl. Eileen Ford spotted Efva at the age of seventeen and a twelve-year modeling career began. Having music in her family and in her heart Efva next started a band in 1981 called the X Models. The band had a hit ballad ”Two of us” in the 1980’s that Efva composed. In 1996 Efva returned to where she once started, working with silver, gold and precious stones. Efva Attling opened her own workshop in February 1999 in the southern part of central Stockholm. This was the first jewelry shop that she owned and designed. Today the company has seven Efva Attling Flagship Stores, more than a hundered retailers in Sweden and another hundred across the rest of the globe.

Beyond her beautiful and thoughtful designs, Efva is dedicated to building awareness for issues that are close to her heart through her jewelry and has raised millions of dollars from pieces created over the years.
