We produce juices, spritzers and cider in certified organic quality and completely avoid additives of any kind. As the basis for all of our drinks, we only use old cider apple varieties from East German orchards such as the "Minister von Hammerstein" and the "flammed Cardinal".

Drinking OSTMOST means saving the small “rainforests of Germany”:
To date, around 80% of East German orchards have been cut down. Among other things, for eco-certified monoplantations. In contrast to conventional monocultures, orchards are a true paradise of species and variety diversity, as up to 5,000 animal and plant species find a home here. The care and harvesting of these orchards is particularly time-consuming and therefore often no longer economically viable for farmers. That's why we pay the initiatives and fruit growers a fair price, often more than twice what is usual on the market. We thus enable a fair and regional value chain to preserve orchards.
At OSTMOST we concentrate on the east of Germany in terms of raw material origin and sales market. Because here the orchards are in trouble and we are working on it!
QUALITY
In addition to the ecological added value, we particularly focus on quality: no pesticides or fertilizers are used on our orchards. This means that the raw material apple remains free of residues and you can taste it. The eco-certified apples are hand-picked and are gently processed into our direct apple juice. This means that important substances such as polyphenols and vitamins are retained and are sometimes ten times higher than in organic juices from apple orchards! In conjunction with regional superfoods such as beetroot, rhubarb or the aronia berry, we create taste creations that are innovative and healthy at the same time.Original language

Wir produzieren Säfte, Schorlen und Cider in zertifizierter Bio-Qualität und verzichten dabei komplett auf Zusätze jeglicher Art. Als Basis aller unserer Getränke nutzen wir ausschließlich alte Mostapfelsorten von ostdeutschen Streuobstwiesen wie den "Minister von Hammerstein" und den "geflammten Kardinal.

OSTMOST trinken heißt, die kleinen „Regenwälder Deutschlands“ zu retten:
Bisher wurden ca. 80% des ostdeutschen Streuobstwiesenbestands abgeholzt. U.a. für ökozertifizierte Monoplantagen. Streuobstwiesen sind im Gegensatz zu konventionellen Monokulturen ein wahres Paradies der Arten- und Sortenvielfalt, denn hier finden bis zu 5.000 Tier- und Pflanzenarten ein Zuhause. Die Pflege und Ernte dieser Streuobstwiesen ist besonders aufwändig und daher für die Landwirte wirtschaftlich oft nicht mehr rentabel. Deshalb zahlen wir den Initiativen und Obstbauern einen fairen Preis, oftmals mehr als das Doppelte dessen, was am Markt üblich ist. Wir ermöglichen somit eine faire und regionale Wertschöpfungskette zur Erhaltung der Streuobstwiesen.
Bei OSTMOST konzentrieren wir uns bezüglich Rohstoffherkunft und Absatzmarkt auf den deutschen Osten. Denn hier geht es den Streuobstwiesen an den Kragen und dagegen arbeiten wir an!
QUALITÄT
Neben dem ökologischen Mehrwert steht bei uns die Qualität besonders im Fokus: Auf unseren Streuobstwiesen werden keine Pflanzenschutzmittel oder Dünger verwendet. So bleibt der Rohstoff Apfel frei von Rückständen und das schmeckt man. Die ökozertifizierten Äpfel sind handgeerntet und werden schonend zu unserem Apfeldirektsaft verarbeitet. Somit bleiben wichtige Stoffe wie Polyphenole und Vitamine erhalten und sind teilweise um ein zehnfaches höher als bei Bio-Säften von Apfelplantagen! In Verbindung mit regionalen Superfoods wie Rote-Bete, Rhabarber oder der Aronia-Beere schaffen wir Geschmackskreationen, die innovativ und gleichzeitig gesund sind.
