The People’s Picture is a photography and design studio set up by British artist Helen Marshall in 2016. Every artwork is made up of thousands of photos yet every single one tells a story.

As an artist-led studio practice, we create innovative photo artworks and installations at the leading edge of design and technology. Pictures are powerful. People connect with pictures. People share their memories, dreams and celebrate through pictures.

We are experts in visual storytelling, digital photo mosaics and bringing communities together to create, celebrate and own their unique legacy.

- MY SNOWMAN PROJECT

A giant photo mosaic of The Snowman to celebrate the 40th anniversary of the original picture book. Commissioned by Penguin Random House.

- THE FACE OF SUFFRAGE

A large-scale photo mosaic to commemorate 100 years of women's right to vote, comprised of individual photos of past and present women of all kinds, as submitted by the public.
