    Tun Abdul Razak Research Centre (TARRC) is UK-based centre of the Malaysian Rubber Board (www.lgm.gov.my).

    Its consultancy unit, Rubber Consultants, provides development and testing services for rubber and other elastomeric materials and products, including for the pharmaceutical industry, as well as biotechnology services. We have particular expertise in E&L (extractables and leachables), PAH testing, tyre testing to VCA standards, as well as testing for nitrosamines, nitrosatable amines and latex proteins.

    The research centre was established in 1938 as the British Rubber Producers'​ Research Centre (BRPRA) with premises in Welwyn Garden City, Hertfordshire. Its name changed to Natural Rubber Rubber Producers'​ Research Association and then Malaysian Rubber Producers'​ Research Association before becoming TARRC in 1996.
