Hydro Ottawa Limited, a subsidiary of Hydro Ottawa Holdings Inc., distributes electricity to about 359,000 homes & businesses in the nation’s capital. But we are more than just an electricity distribution company.

We pride ourselves on safety, innovation & providing exceptional service to our customers. We never stop innovating to improve the customer experience, whether by improving or expanding our distribution system, enhancing to our web and communications tools, or creating new services and features to meet the changing needs of our customers.

We are active in our community, promoting energy conservation, educating youth about electricity safety, and helping to mitigate the impact of energy costs for those in need. We’re also committed to doing our part to support our community through corporate partnerships: our GoPaperless for CHEO campaigns, our annual sponsorship of Special Needs Day at the Capital Fair, our support of The Ottawa Hospital’s Breast Health Centre, & our annual employee-led United Way campaign. Our employees also take part in annual volunteer days, supporting great causes like the Ottawa Food Bank, Operation Come Home, the Youville Centre, and The Ottawa Mission.
