ATELIER BARTAVELLE is a brand of clothes that develops a feminine and sometimes unisex wardrobe. As a wink to the bartavelle, a native bird of the south of France, the brand identity is deeply linked to Marseille, southern and Provence for its lights, its contrasting atmosphere and color schemes.
The two founders, Alexia Tronel, graduated in political science and specialized in sustainable development, and Caroline Perdrix, graduated from the École de la chambre syndicale de la couture parisienne, are winners of the Mediterranean Fashion Prize and supported by the city of Paris through the Ateliers de Paris. They initiate what they call a ‘new luxury’, driven by social values, their concern for quality and heritage. On each garment, the label indicates the source and the name of the craftsman.
