C4Diagnostics' strategy for the better management of Human infectious diseases, is to develop game changing IVD tests which are significantly faster than standard methods whilst maintaining comparable or better performance.

C4Diagnostics est une société de biotechnologie spécialisée dans le développement de tests de diagnostic in vitro (DIV) pour les maladies infectieuses humaines.
L'approche de C4Diagnostics pour une meilleure prise en charge des maladies infectieuses humaines est de développer des tests IVD plus rapides que les méthodes de référence tout en assurant des performances comparables voire supérieures.
Son portefeuille est centré aujourd’hui sur le diagnostic de la Covid-19 (C4Covid-19 Human), de la légionellose (C4Legio-LFA), des infections urinaires (C4UTI) et sur l’établissement des antibiogrammes (C4AST).
C4Diagnostics a également une Business Unit dédiée au diagnostic environnemental, appelée C4Environment. C4Diagnostics participe à la prochaine journée de formation de l’ASPEC
L’Aspec Association, l’association pour la prévention et l’étude de la contamination organise une journée de formation, L’essentiel de l’hospitalier, le 15 septembre 2022 sur les environnements maîtrisés dans le domaine hospitalier.
Les participants découvriront les principes de la maîtrise de la #contamination dans les zones à risque des établissements de santé, telles que les blocs opératoires, les pharmacies, etc. Plusieurs intervenants présenteront des ateliers sur l’analyse de risques, le traitement de l’air ou encore la nature de différents contaminants.

📢 Antimicrobial susceptibility Testing #AST and Minimal Inhibitory Concentration #MIC determination in 3h
⏱ In the fight against antimicrobial resistance, @C4Diagnostics, thanks to its breakthrough proprietary technology, achieved an AST and MIC determination in as low as 3h.
The « keep it simple » principle of the test is to make bacteria fluorescent allowing to read in a few hours the result that would be available only 12 to 24 hours should the reading be made by the naked eye.
⏩ Next steps are to confirm the results on more strains and drugs and to industrialize the kit #C4AST.
As Dr Margaret Chan, former Director-General World Health Organization said “Antimicrobial resistance is a crisis that must be managed with the utmost urgency”.
