The system is operational with the Institut Mines Telecom, the National School of Arts and Crafts, the Paris-Dauphine University, the Institute of Research for Development, ISEP, and the University of Gustave Eiffel, Estia, Essca, the Sorbonne Paris-Nord University, Kedge BS. It is open to higher education establishments and its incubator.

Initiative Grandes Ecoles & Universités est une plateforme nationale du réseau Initiative France dont l'objectif est de développer les créations d’entreprises innovantes au sein des Grandes Ecoles, Universités et Centres de recherche qui ont mis en place des actions de soutien à l’entrepreneuriat et disposent d’un incubateur.
Depuis 2012, nous accompagnons des entrepreneurs par :
- Un accompagnement entrepreneurial et une expertise technique apportés par les établissements partenaires.
- Un financement au stade de l’amorçage, non dilutif, par un prêt d’honneur, à taux 0 % et sans garantie, de 10 à 60 000 €
Les dépenses financées sont de diverses natures : un premier prototype ou une version beta, le dépôt d’un brevet, l’embauche d’un collaborateur qualifié,...
Ces étapes cruciales nécessitent un investissement d’amorçage, permettant de renforcer les fonds propres et valider qu’une innovation deviendra demain un succès commercial et financier.
Le prêt d’honneur, associé à l’accompagnement, a un réel effet de levier sur d’autres financements : banque, BPI, amorçage, capital-risque, business angels...
Le dispositif est opérationnel auprès de l'Institut Mines Télécom, l'Ecole Nationale Supérieure des Arts et Métiers, l'Université Paris-Dauphine, l'Institut de recherche pour le Développement, l'ISEP, et l'Université Gustave Eiffel, ESTIA, ESSCA, l'Université Sorbonne Paris-Nord, KEDGE BS. Il est ouvert aux établissements d'enseignements supérieurs et son incubateur.
