Les Maisons des femmes Restart œuvrent au recul des violences sexistes et sexuelles via le soin et la prévention.
La Maison des femmes de Saint-Denis soigne et accompagne les femmes en difficulté ou victimes de violences. Unité du Centre hospitalier de Saint-Denis elle propose une prise en charge médicale, psychique, psycho-corporelle, sociale et juridique grâce à un guichet unique. Son financement est soutenu par l'action d'une Association d'intérêt général, du même nom, qui pilote également l'essaimage du modèle "Maison des femmes" à travers l'action du collectif ReStart. L'Association mène également des actions de prévention, de formation, de plaidoyer, de communication et intervient dans le champ de l'hébergement avec son centre d'hébergement Mon Palier.
Créée grâce au soutien de mécènes privés et de partenaires publics, La Maison des femmes s'appuie sur un modèle économique original qui garantit son indépendance et lui permet d’ajuster ou de développer ses actions avec plus de souplesse et de réactivité.
