Isigny Sainte Mère is a French dairy cooperative located in the Isigny terroir of Normandy, which is the cradle of the famous Isigny butter and “crème fraiche”(cultured cream).
It is owned by almost 700 dairy farmers members representing 500 dairy farms in the 3 Normandy districts of Calvados, and Manche and Orne.
Isigny Sainte Mère is collecting and processing close to 200 million liters of milk per year. It is marketing its members ‘milk in 2 different kinds of products nationally and internationally, both under the “Isigny Sainte Mère” brand and under its clients brands:
- Fresh dairy products: high quality butters and creams and traditional French cheeses.
- High-grade infant milk powder.
Quality and safety of products is one of the strategic pillars at Isigny Sainte Mère. With more than 300 medals and 2 Excellence Awards, the cooperative is the most awarded dairy company at the Concours Général Agricole (national food industry contest) in Paris.

Elle est implantée dans un terroir d’exception, berceau des Appellations d’Origine Protégée (A.O.P.) Beurre et Crème d’Isigny. Mondialement connue pour ses produits laitiers traditionnels élaborés avec la plus grande exigence, elle est présente dans plus de 100 pays à travers le monde.
Isigny Sainte-Mère est un acteur économique majeur, et a réalisé en 2022 un chiffre d’affaires de 607 millions d’euros, dont 61% sont réalisés à l’export.
Premier employeur du Bessin, son effectif dépasse aujourd'hui les 1250 salariés, répartis sur 2 sites à Isigny-sur-Mer dans le Calvados, et à Chef-du-Pont dans la Manche. Ils œuvrent quotidiennement à fabriquer Beurres et Crèmes, Camemberts, Pont l’Evêque, Mimolettes ou encore Fromages Frais.
La Coopérative est également une experte mondiale dans la production de poudres de lait infantile haut de gamme depuis plus de 75 ans, et nourrit ainsi 2,5 millions de bébés par jour dans le monde entier.
En 2019, elle acquiert les Caramels d’Isigny, une entreprise de fabrication artisanale de caramels pour les particuliers et les professionnels.
La Coopérative associe tradition, innovation et qualité dans la fabrication de ses produits. Elle a reçu plus de 420 médailles au Concours Général Agricole de Paris et 3 Prix d’Excellence, et est précurseur dans de nombreux domaines.
