Fab City started as a challenge for a city to produce (almost) everything it consumes. The provocation has grown into a global movement, which is facilitated by the Fab City Foundation, a Network of 41 cities and a Collective of experts.
The Fab City Foundation supports the Fab City global initiative through the development of projects and educational programs that are focused on building the capacity of cities and their communities. Based in e-Estonia, the Foundation is location independent and supports distributed programs and projects the world over.

As part of the Fab City Agenda, the Fab City Network is gathering for the second Round Table this May 26, 2022 from 7:30 -9:30 CET.
An inspirational panel will give a general overview of New Forms of Learning and Distributed Learning Programs, by explaining its context, importance and how cities/regions can benefit from global Distributed Learning Programs.
The goal is to promote synergies and multilevel knowledge exchange within Fab City Global Initiative and everyone who's interested in Fab City.

⚡⚡MDDI SCHOLARSHIP Opportunity ⚡⚡
The Fab City Foundation announces the Scholarship: "Reconfiguring communities, technologies, and ecosystems" giving our master’s applicants the chance to win partial scholarships covering 30% of the tuition fee.
Applicants from all over the world can send their proposals. Scholarships will be awarded to pursue MDDI at any of our current nodes: Bali, Hamburg, Shanghai, Lima, Montréal, Paris, Pune, and Santiago de Chile.
In order to participate, candidates interested in the MDDI Scholarship Competition must send to mddi@fab.city:
- Hold a first-level academic diploma or Bachelor’s degree, or about to graduate within the academic year 2022/23
- Have a full proficient level in English
- Submit your project in pdf format, A3 format, 3 pages max (max 8MB) by sending an email to the Applications Department
