    Eight Grenoble research centers are involved in the Carnot “PolyNat” institute dedicated to the eco-production of efficient and innovative biosourced materials.
    PolyNat is interested in the development and valorization of functional materials with high added value, either “hybrid” (partly derived from fossil and natural resources), or entirely “biosourced”, taking advantage of the self-assembly of elementary building blocks constituting plant matter (glycopolymers, nanocrystals, cellulose fibers), at micro- and nanometric scales.
