Pour ce faire, l’association gère depuis 2012 un Centre de compétences qui met à disposition des formations de qualité pour des adultes en emploi dans les domaines de la santé et du social.
L’OrTra s’engage, par le biais du Centre de compétences, à lutter activement contre la pénurie de personnel dans les métiers de la santé et du social au travers de nouvelles prestations, qui se concrétisent depuis 2014.
L’OrTra doit définir les besoins en matière de formation professionnelle secondaire et tertiaire ainsi que la formation continue. Elle se doit d’assurer la coordination des réseaux d’entreprises pour les contrats d’apprentissage.
