A land of culture and tradition, the regional community is committed to promoting and enhancing the historical, musical and culinary heritage beyond our islands to boost the region's tourist economy.
Chaired since December 2015 by Ary Chalus, the Guadeloupe Regional Council is made up of 40 regional advisors who work in 15 thematic commissions to structure all major projects in the territory.
The Regional Hall is located in Basse-Terre, but residents also have the opportunity to meet regional agents at the Raizet and Nord-Grande-Terre regional offices in Moule.

Terre de sport et de champions, la Région Guadeloupe accueille des manifestations d’envergure internationale telles que la Karujet (Championnat du monde de Jetski), l’Open international de Golf ou encore la Route du Rhum-Destination Guadeloupe, afin de permettre le rayonnement de notre archipel et de sportifs émergents à l’échelle internationale.
Terre de culture et de tradition, la collectivité régionale s’est engagée à promouvoir et valoriser le patrimoine historique, musical, culinaire, au-delà de nos îles pour dynamiser l’économie touristique du territoire.
Présidé depuis décembre 2015 par Ary Chalus, le Conseil régional de Guadeloupe se compose de 40 conseillers régionaux qui interviennent dans 15 commissions thématiques pour structurer l’ensemble des projets d’envergure sur le territoire.
L’Hôtel de Région se trouve à Basse-Terre, mais les administrés ont aussi la possibilité de rencontrer des agents régionaux aux Espaces régionaux du Raizet et du Nord-Grande-Terre au Moule.
