Wikipedia setzt sich für den kostenlosen Zugang zu freiem Wissen ein und engagiert sich damit für ein grundlegendes Recht des Menschen auf Bildung. Wikimedia Deutschland unterstützt durch intensive Presse- und Öffentlichkeitsarbeit das rasante Wachstum der Wikimedia-Projekte. Image und Bekanntheit der Wikimedia-Projekte in der Öffentlichkeit weiter zu fördern ist eines unserer Kernziele. Wir organisieren Schreibwettbewerbe, veranstalten Workshops, realisieren Kooperationen, organisieren Messeauftritte und planen Veranstaltungen, Vorträge und Symposien.
