[Automatic translation follows] Our mission: to develop responsible digital uses in the Basque Country
Antic (agency for new information and communication technologies) was formed in 1999 in the form of a non-profit association (Law 1901) to develop new technologies in the territory of the Basque Country. Its major objective is to promote the information society and facilitate the appropriation of digital uses among local authorities, institutions, businesses and other actors in the economic development of the territory.
Its missions are structured around 4 areas of work:
- Support business performance through digital development and appropriation of ICT (Information and Communication Technologies) uses
- Encourage institutions and communities to carry out or support digital projects
- Develop the digital service offering
- Support sectors through the use of digital technology for their structuring
In the heart of Izarbel, on the Basque Coast Technopole, antic mobilizes a network of actors from varied backgrounds (political and institutional decision-makers, actors in higher education, technology transfer and SMEs/SMIs to bring about new projects, promote innovation in the Basque Country and improve the competitiveness of this territory.

Notre mission : développer les usages numériques responsables sur le territoire Pays Basque
L'antic (agence des nouvelles technologies de l'information et de la communication) a été constituée en 1999 sous la forme d'une association à but non lucratif (Loi 1901) pour développer les nouvelles technologies sur le territoire du Pays basque. Son objectif majeur est de promouvoir la société de l'information et faciliter l'appropriation des usages numériques auprès des collectivités territoriales, institutions, entreprises et autres acteurs du développement économique du territoire.
Ses missions sont articulées autour de 4 axes de travail :
- Soutenir la performance des entreprises par le développement du numérique et l'appropriation des usages TIC (Technologies de l'information et de la communication)
- Inciter les institutions et collectivités à porter ou soutenir des projets numériques
- Développer l'offre de services numériques
- Accompagner les filières par l'utilisation du numérique pour leur structuration
Au cœur d'Izarbel, sur la Technopole de la Côte basque, l'antic mobilise ainsi un réseau d'acteurs d'horizons variés (décideurs politiques et institutionnels, acteurs de l'enseignement supérieur, du transfert technologique et des PME/PMI pour faire émerger de nouveaux projets, favoriser l'innovation sur le Pays basque et améliorer la compétitivité de ce territoire.
