Created in 2012, the Fabrique de l’Exportation’s mission is to contribute to a metamorphosis of the French perception of exports.
Apolitical and unique in its composition, the Export Factory is an innovative Think Tank. It brings together business leaders as well as academics, representatives of the French administration, leaders of institutions dedicated to the international development of businesses, representatives of professional organizations, competitiveness clusters and even journalists.
To carry out its mission, the Export Factory works in different ways:
- conducting analyzes of existing scientific studies and producing recommendations,
- relaying testimonials from members,
- summary of studies conducted with exporters.
The Export Factory starts from the postulate that export must be approached in a different way by understanding it in a scientific (empirical) way.
To demonstrate this, the Think Tank develops proposals which are debated through its publications, and various forms of intellectual and media events, then brought to political and economic decision-makers, business leaders and institutions.

Le think tank au service de l'exportation française
Créée en 2012, la Fabrique de l’Exportation s’est donnée pour mission de contribuer à une métamorphose de la perception française de l’exportation.
Apolitique et singulière par sa composition, la Fabrique de l’Exportation est un Think Tank novateur. Elle réunit tant des chefs d’entreprises que des universitaires, des représentants de l’administration française, des dirigeants d’institutions dédiées au développement international des entreprises, des représentants d’organisations professionnelles, de pôles de compétitivité ou encore des journalistes.
Pour mener à bien sa mission, la Fabrique de l’Exportation œuvre de différentes manières :
- conduite d’analyses d’études scientifiques existantes et production de recommandations,
- relai de témoignages de membres,
- synthèse d’études conduites auprès d’exportateurs.
La Fabrique de l’Exportation part du postulat que l’exportation doit être abordée d’une façon différente en l’appréhendant de manière scientifique (empirique) .
Pour le démontrer, le Think Tank élabore des propositions qui sont mises en débat à travers ses publications, et diverses formes d’événements intellectuels et médiatiques, ensuite portés auprès des décideurs politiques et économiques, des chefs d’entreprises et des institutionnels.
