The objective of AI4IDF is to take advantage of the scientific and industrial fabric of Ile-de-France to make it a key player in the construction of a frugal, reliable, efficient Artificial Intelligence (AI), brought to cohabit with human beings and to assist them in their decisions. This objective is achievable, thanks to the strength of the Ile-de-France scientific community and the alliance of the four institutes of excellence in AI: DATAIA, Hi! PARIS, PRAIRIE and SCAI.
The region's very rich ecosystem in the field of innovation will guarantee the socio-economic impact of the project, in particular thanks to the numerous partnerships of these institutes with large groups, SMEs and other Ile-de-France start-ups.
THE CHALLENGES:
AI4IDF is a structuring and unifying research project, dedicated to artificial intelligence, a scientific and technological field that has become essential. AI4IDF aims to deepen knowledge in AI while keeping humans at the center of its concerns. Ile-de-France must play a major role in this sector of the future, through its scientific excellence and its incomparable ecosystem.

1. Learning and optimization: between algorithmic efficiency and theoretical guarantees

3. Robotics, movement and interaction with humans
4. AI in human life: examples from health, education and creation
ROBOTICS PLATFORM, STRUCTURED NETWORK:
Cutting-edge equipment allowing the study of fundamental aspects of locomotion, manipulation and planning, with high mobility and high dynamic systems with applications with high socio-economic implications: robotics in open environments (civil security and defense, agriculture and construction) and interactive assistance robotics for autonomy (physical assistance for compensating motor deficiency or social robots for cognitive interaction). -

L'objectif de AI4IDF est de tirer parti du tissu scientifique et industriel de l'Ile-de-France pour en faire un acteur incontournable de la construction d'une Intelligence Artificielle (IA) frugale, fiable, efficace, amenée à cohabiter avec l'être humain et à l'assister dans ses décisions. Cet objectif est atteignable, grâce à la force de la communauté scientifique francilienne et à l'alliance des quatre instituts d'excellence en IA que sont DATAIA, Hi! PARIS, PRAIRIE et SCAI.
L'écosystème très riche de la région dans le domaine de l'innovation garantira l'impact socio-économique du projet, notamment grâce aux nombreux partenariats de ces instituts avec des grands groupes, PME et autres start-up franciliennes.
LES ENJEUX :
AI4IDF est un projet de recherche structurant et fédérateur, consacré à l'intelligence artificielle, domaine scientifique et technologique devenu incontournable. AI4IDF vise à approfondir les connaissances en IA tout en gardant l'être humain au centre de ses préoccupations. L'Ile-de-France doit jouer un rôle majeur dans ce secteur d'avenir, par son excellence scientifique et son écosystème incomparable.

PLATE-FORME DE ROBOTIQUE, RESEAU STRUCTURE :
Equipements de pointe permettant d'étudier des aspects fondamentaux de la locomotion, de la manipulation et de la planification, avec des systèmes à haute mobilité et à grande dynamique avec des applications à fort enjeu socio-économique: robotique en milieu ouvert (sécurité civile et défense, agriculture et construction) et robotique interactive d'assistance pour l'autonomie (assistance physique pour la compensation de la déficience motrice ou robots sociaux pour une interaction cognitive).
