Somos la Agencia de Ciencia, Competitividad Empresarial e Innovación Asturiana (Sekuens) es el instrumento gubernamental necesario para el despliegue de una política científica moderna, para el fomento de ecosistemas innovadores que atraigan talento e inversiones, permitiendo la creación de nuevas empresas y grupos de investigación.
Asturias, se convierte en la primera región española que combina los conceptos promoción económica e innovación, sin descuidar el avance del conocimiento científico tecnológico en todos los ámbitos, articulando una organización administrativa más eficaz y eficiente que permita reordenar, fortalecer y financiar el sistema científico asturiano en colaboración con el resto de las instituciones adscrita a la Administración del Principado a través de la Agencia que serán clave en la gestión de los diferentes programas.
