Association loi 1901 créée en 2003, membre de la Fédération Nationale des Agence d’Urbanisme (FNAU), l’agence d’urbanisme de l’aire toulonnaise et du Var (audat.var) est un outil pluridisciplinaire d’aide à la décision, partagé par les collectivités et institutions publiques locales.
Créée à l’initiative de l’État, de la Métropole Toulon Provence Méditerranée, du Conseil Départemental du Var et du SCoT Provence Méditerranée, l’audat.var a progressivement élargi la communauté de ses membres pour intervenir sur l’ensemble du territoire varois.
Elle compte aujourd’hui une vingtaine de membres, dont la métropole toulonnaise, de nombreux EPCI varois (communautés d’agglomération et communautés de communes), les chambres consulaires, l’Université de Toulon, le conseil départemental du Var, l’Etat, le Parc Naturel Régional de la Sainte-Baume....
Elle travaille en réseau avec les autres agences d’urbanisme françaises et plus particulièrement avec les 3 agences de la région Sud PACA pour appuyer les réflexions de niveau régional.
Face aux nouveaux enjeux et défis territoriaux, dans un monde sans cesse en transition, l’audat.var se positionne comme un lieu d’échange et de coopération territoriale contribuant au dialogue, à l’harmonisation et la cohérence des politiques publiques. Elle accompagne les acteurs publics varois dans la définition et la mise en œuvre de leurs politiques d’aménagement et de développement.
Elle est aussi une plateforme d’observation, d’analyse et d’échange sur les projets des territoires.
L’équipe capitalise une solide connaissance dans divers domaines : planification spatiale, démographe, habitat et modes de vie, environnement, mobilité, économie et foncier, politiques sociales, projets urbains, data et données...
L’audat.var, outil d’ingénierie territoriale au service de ses membres, travaille à toutes les échelles : département, EPCI, communes, quartiers, sites à enjeux.
