Since 2016, the association Sœurs d'Encre has been campaigning for artistic reconstruction tattooing to be recognized as an alternative or complement to classic forms of surgical reconstruction, in conjunction with the medical community.
Rose Tattoo
Every year, the association offers around a hundred post-breast cancer tattoos to women in Bordeaux, Paris and Colmar during the "Rose Tattoo" event.
It regularly organizes and participates in round tables on the benefits of restorative scar tattooing. It is also invited to raise awareness on these topics during events and demonstrations dedicated to tattooing, women, illness, health or disability. It also participates in photographic and artistic exhibitions to raise awareness and inform about the reconstruction technique through tattooing for women affected by breast cancer.
The association Sœurs d'Encre is recognized as supportive oncology care by AFSOS (French-speaking association for supportive oncology care); she also received the Pink Ribbon Quality of Life Award, signed an agreement with the CPAM and the MSA of Gironde as well as the VIASANTÉ mutual insurance company.
The "Et Après"?! scheme
"Et Après?!" offers women who have been affected by the disease a recovery path as part of a professional immersion in the workshops of the creative recycling center ATELIER D'éco SOLIDAIRE.

Depuis 2016 L'association Sœurs d'Encre milite pour que le tatouage artistique de reconstruction soit reconnu comme alternative ou complément aux formes de reconstructions chirurgicales classiques, en lien avec le milieu médical.
Rose Tattoo
Tous les ans, l'association offre lors de l'événement « Rose Tattoo » une centaine de tatouages post cancer du sein aux femmes sur Bordeaux, Paris et Colmar.
Elle organise et participe régulièrement à des tables rondes sur les bénéfices du tatouage réparateur sur cicatrice. Elle est également invitée à sensibiliser sur ces sujets lors de manifestations et d'événements dédiés au tatouage, à la femme, à la maladie, à la santé ou le handicap. Elle participe aussi à des expositions photographiques et artistiques pour sensibiliser et informer sur la technique de reconstruction par le tatouage pour les femmes touchées par un cancer du sein.
L’association Sœurs d’Encre est reconnue comme soin oncologique de support par l'AFSOS (association francophone pour les soins oncologiques de support); elle a également reçu le Prix Ruban Rose qualité de vie, a signé une convention avec la CPAM et la MSA de la Gironde ainsi que la mutuelle VIASANTÉ.
Le dispositif "Et Après"?!
"Et Après ?!" propose aux femmes qui ont été touchées par la maladie un parcours de rétablissement dans le cadre d’une immersion professionnelle au sein des ateliers de la recyclerie créative l’ATELIER D'éco SOLIDAIRE.
Ce dispositif est soutenu par l'AGEFIPH.
