The DRCI also aims to be a player in the construction of a research partnership network integrating university structures, healthcare establishments, city structures, and technological companies in the department and the PACA region.

La Délégation à la Recherche Clinique et à l’Innovation (DRCI) est un service support complet permettant d’aider tous les acteurs hospitaliers dans la réalisation de leurs projets de recherche ou d’évaluation scientifique. Equipe pluri-professionnelle rassemblant notamment l’expertise médico-scientifique, l’expertise réglementaire, la conduite de projet, les méthodes statistiques, la gestion des données, les audits et monitoring, la gestion financière et la valorisation des résultats, la DRCI se veut moteur du développement.
En soutien des recherches cliniques, paramédicales et translationnelles, elle couvre un champs de thématiques élargi : Innovations technologiques et médicamenteuses, mises en place de nouvelles filières de prise en charge (ville-hôpital), suivi des maladies chroniques, hospitalisation à domicile, soin primaire, thérapies alternatives (activité physique adaptée, éducation thérapeutique, nutrition ...) , développement durable, ...
Structure collaborative civilo-militaire, la DRCI GHT Var regroupe les experts des 9 établissements du GHT Var incluant l’hôpital d’instruction des armées de Sainte Anne. Organisée autour d’un conseil scientifique mutualisé, son action se veut territoriale avec la mise en place d’une équipe mobile support pouvant se projeter dans les différents établissements. La DRCI se veut également acteur dans la construction d’un réseau partenarial de recherche intégrant les structures universitaires, les établissements de soins, les structures de ville, et les entreprises technologiques du département et de la région PACA.
Certifiée ISO 9001, la DRCI est engagée dans une démarche qualité volontariste : Sécurité patient, fiabilité des données, écoute des parties et amélioration des pratiques font partie de l’ADN du service qui garantit le strict respect réglementaire, l’atteinte des objectifs fixés, la formation continue des personnels et les meilleures valorisations
