Principalement présent dans les secteurs du spatial, de la défense, de l’astronomie, et des grands instruments scientifiques, Bertin Winlight dispose d’une expertise technique reconnue à l’échelle internationale dans l'étude et la réalisation de systèmes optiques de pointe. L’entreprise détient notamment des technologies uniques en polissage (adhérence moléculaire, polissage de haute précision) ainsi qu’en assemblage et tests.
En 2017, la société Bertin Winlight a été rachetée par Bertin Technologies.
