On Feb. 27, FinCEN announced that it plans to further extend the current CTA reporting deadlines and that it will not take any enforcement action for reporting failures until after the new deadlines have passed. FinCEN also stated that it intends to issue an interim final rule establishing these dates prior to March 21.

New York lawmakers recently passed a bill to relax and delay some of the requirements of the Retail Worker Safety Act, which requires certain employers to adopt a violence prevention policy and train staff on ways to identify and prevent incidents of workplace violence.
