UEBT is a non-profit association that promotes sourcing with respect. We work to regenerate nature and secure a better future for people through ethical sourcing of ingredients from biodiversity. We aim to contribute to a world in which all people and biodiversity thrive. Our member companies are primarily in the personal care, cosmetics, food and natural pharmaceuticals sectors.

UEBT works with a wide range of stakeholders to set good practices for how companies source natural ingredients, and independently checks their commitment and practices through the implementation of the UEBT standards.

UEBT’s has innovative and credible verification and certification solutions that meet business needs. This also includes advisory services on access and benefit sharing and sourcing with respect. UEBT membership delivers business value while driving market transformation.

UEBT also hosts the annual ‘Sourcing with Respect’ conference, the leading international event on the ethical sourcing of biodiversity for companies in cosmetics, food and natural pharmaceuticals.
