Faced with the high request from the public during projections to discover even more stories of inspiring women in the mountain sector we had the idea of launching this festival project.

On n’est pas que des collants est une association qui veut promouvoir et encourager la pratique féminine des sports outdoor et de montagne.
Nous pensons que créer une communauté autour des pratiques féminines des sports de montagne est importante afin d’atteindre plus de mixité.
Nous voulons donc relayer des portraits de femmes sportives inspirantes afin de donner envie à d’autres femmes de se lancer dans les sports outdoors.
Le festival « Femmes en montagne » est un évènement cinématographique annuel créé par notre association en 2019. Il nous tient vraiment à cœur et a pour but de promouvoir nos valeurs et partager vos aventures au travers de films indépendants.
Le festival est un moment de partage et de cohésion autour de notre volonté de mettre en avant le sport de montagne et outdoor au féminin.
L’Association « On n’est pas que des collants » crée le premier festival de films sur les femmes en montagne en France. La création de ce festival intervient, après le déroulement des deux ans de la tournée Femmes en montagne qui fut une réussite. Devant la forte demande du public lors des projections de découvrir encore plus d’histoires de femmes inspirantes du milieu de la montagne nous avons eu l’idée de lancer ce projet de festival.
C’est donc dans une volonté de promouvoir la pratique féminine de la montagne et sa médiatisation que l’association « On n’est pas que des collants » lance le premier festival de film sur les femmes en montagne en France.
