Le Collectif Stop aux Cancers de nos Enfants (SCE) a été créé début mars 2019 afin de répondre à la question :
Qu’est-ce qui fait que sur notre territoire, il y a plus de cancers d’enfants qu’ailleurs ?
Suite à la multiplication anormale de cas de cancers pédiatriques, depuis mai 2015, sur la commune de Sainte-Pazanne et ses environs, des parents inquiets se sont réunis et ont décidé d’agir.
Il y a urgence à se mobiliser pour trouver les causes de ce cluster de cancers d’enfants (nombre de cancers plus élevé que la normale au sein d’une population donnée, dans une aire géographique déterminée ou sur une période de temps donné) et agir en conséquence.
