L’Union Nationale des Producteurs de Pommes de Terre (UNPT) a été créée en 2002 suite au regroupement de la fédération nationale des producteurs de pommes de terre industrielles (FNPTI) et la fédération nationale des pommes de terre de consommation (FNPTC).
L’UNPT est constituée aujourd’hui de deux collèges :

Les principes et les règles de fonctionnement de l’UNPT sont fixés par ses statuts et son règlement intérieur, en conformité avec les textes règlementaires. L’ensemble des décisions qui engagent l’UNPT sont prises par le Conseil d’Administration sur les propositions de groupes de travail, de commissions, transversales (qualité, communication, économie, etc.) ou verticales (fécule, frais et transformation), et le Bureau.
