Created in 1993 and present in Paris, Lyon and Bourg-en-Bresse, BASILIADE is an activist association resulting from the fight against HIV/AIDS, whose mission is to welcome and provide comprehensive support to the most vulnerable people facing illness and poverty/precariousness with a view to a sustainable return to autonomy.

Créée en 1993 et présente à Paris, Lyon et Bourg-en-Bresse, BASILIADE est une association militante issue de la lutte contre le VIH/Sida, qui a pour mission l'accueil et l'accompagnement global des personnes les plus vulnérables face à la maladie et à la pauvreté/précarité en vue d'un retour durable à l'autonomie.
Forte d’une centaine de bénévoles et une centaine de salarié-es, BASILIADE compte à ce jour une dizaine de structures à taille humaine de type familial, appelées "Maisons" dans lesquelles se retrouvent, dans un esprit de convivialité et de solidarité, bénéficiaires, bénévoles et professionnel-es.
Rejoindre Basiliade c'est avant tout de vouloir s'engager dans une association militante de terrain. Basiliade recherche des personnes qui souhaitent avoir un job qui a du sens, qui partagent ses valeurs et avec un fort esprit d'équipe.
BASILIADE cultive le partenariat et le travail en réseau sur tous les territoires où sont implantées ses Maisons. Cet art de travailler avec les autres est un des fondements de l’association pour répondre à la complexité des problèmes d’aujourd’hui et pour construire des solutions de demain. Engagée dans une action médico-sociale auprès des personnes défavorisées, BASILIADE vise en premier lieu à mobiliser une équipe pluridisciplinaire de plus de 100 volontaires et d’une centaine de professionnels (Travailleurs sociaux, Chargés d’Insertion, Médecins, Psychologue, Infirmières, Maitresses de Maison, etc.).
