[Automatic translation follows] Cultural web-magazine | Live from Art
Three years ago,
On the benches of the École du Louvre, we were thinking about the broad outlines of a future magazine. What name to choose? How to proceed ? What topics to cover? Ah! So many discussions leading to a timid “Skip the line, live from art” scribbled on a piece of paper. One look and the deal was on. Bringing together some of our fellow Art History enthusiasts, Coupe-File Art came to life.
Three years ago,
We wanted to stick to analyzes of works. “We have no limit as to the forms of art that we will present to you: paintings will follow sculptures, architectural works and other furniture. We work to build the most eclectic corpus possible, detached from the idea of chronology or geography. » we wrote.
Three years ago,
On September 25, 2018, the site was put online and the first article published. Ebih-îl, a famous Mesopotamian orant from the Louvre museum, took over our columns and became the very image of Coupe-File.
Three years ago,
We reached a milestone and decided to present our writings publicly for the first time, a phenomenon amplified by the opening of an Essay section on November 8, 2020. From analyzing works, we moved to address the question of exhibitions, foaming museums and current outings, we have covered a large number of cultural events.
Three years ago,
Coupe-File Art was born.
Happy Birthday Skip The Line Art.

Joyeux anniversaire Coupe-File Art.
