PLAY International is a pioneer among organizations using sport as a tool for education and social change. Since 1999, the NGO developped initiatives in over 12 countries, creating ways for children to learn, be included or overcome a trauma through play.
Today, PLAY International aspires to increase the social impact of sport around the world by allowing a growing number of practitioners of the education, sport and humanitarian sectors to access new pedagogies and methods.
By sharing its expertise, (co)creating new tools for changemakers, the NGO will contribute to the education and social well being of over 1 million children by 2018

PLAY International est une ONG pionnière dans le secteur du développement et de l’éducation par le sport. Elle a été fondée en 1999 autour d’ une conviction : le sport est une source de solutions pour répondre à nos enjeux de société.
Aujourd’hui, l’ONG est implantée au Burundi, aux Comores, au Kosovo, en France et au Sénégal. En collaboration avec des acteurs locaux et internationaux (associations, ONG, acteurs du développement, ministères, entreprises...), PLAY International conçoit ses outils d’intervention selon différents contextes sociaux et géographiques.
Cette adaptation permet à l’ONG de répondre à des problématiques variées comme l’égalité fille-garçon, le handicap, le dialogue interethnique, la prévention des maladies sexuellement transmissibles et la préservation de l’environnement.
En formant la communauté éducative et sportive, PLAY International a agi pour le bénéfice de près d'un million d’enfants. PLAY International est une association de solidarité internationale, reconnue d’intérêt général et soutenue par le Ministère des Sports et par le Ministère de l'Education nationale.

Depuis 1999, PLAY s'investit pour faire du sport un levier d'éducation & de changement social. Son action, dans plus de 20 pays et auprès de 850 000 bénéficiaires, démontre qu'il est possible d'impacter positivement les parcours de vie en inventant de nouvelles façons d'utiliser l'activité physique et sportive.
