Depuis 2017, Open Geneva est une association à but non lucratif, basée à Genève, qui a pour mission de promouvoir et stimuler l’innovation ouverte en rassemblant les innovateurs-rices, en faisant vivre leurs idées, en communiquant sur leurs projets et en soutenant leur développement.
Depuis 2017, Open Geneva organise le Festival d’Innovation Ouverte du Grand Genève au printemps ainsi que des événements d’innovation, de type hackathons et workshops, en présentiel et en distanciel, pour animer sa communauté de 4000 personnes.
Open Geneva est reconnue comme un acteur majeur de l’écosystème d’innovation dans le Grand Genève.
