In an interdisciplinary approach, urban stakeholders, both French and international, gather to reflect on good practices of urban development and to suggest new ways to build and rebuild cities. Mobility, urban planning and construction, energy, the digital revolution, and new usages are the five axes that structure our work.
Created by the VINCI group, its sponsor, in 2010, La Fabrique de la Cité is an endowment fund, and is thus vested with a public interest mission. All our research is accessible to the public on our website and social networks.

Elle réunit acteurs et experts de toutes disciplines et de tous horizons géographiques pour identifier et comprendre les enjeux économiques, sociaux et écologiques des villes. Elle s’appuie sur les expertises des membres de son comité d’orientation pour définir un programme annuel de débats, de rencontres, d'études de terrain et de travail documentaire. Attentive aux meilleures pratiques françaises et internationales, La Fabrique de la Cité observe les équilibres et les dynamiques propres aux territoires, met en lumière des initiatives inspirantes, clarifie les controverses et soumet au débat public des propositions de nouveaux modèles de développement des villes.
Créée en 2010 par le groupe VINCI, son mécène, La Fabrique de la Cité est un fonds de dotation et porte, à ce titre, une mission d'intérêt général. Toutes ses productions sont accessibles sur son site web.
