The European University Association represents over 870 universities and national rectors’ conferences in 49 countries.

With more than 870 members across 49 countries, EUA is the largest and most comprehensive organisation representing universities in Europe. EUA supports and takes forward the interests of individual institutions and the higher education sector as a whole. EUA plays a crucial role in the European Higher education Area (Bologna Process) and in influencing EU policies on higher education, research and innovation. Thanks to its interaction with a range of other European and international organisations EUA ensures that the independent voice of European universities is heard, wherever decisions are being taken that will impact on their activities.

Besides following the European University association's page, you can also join various groups group for discussing specific topics with your peers and experts. Three groups are currently opened: the EUA Council on Doctoral Education, Quality Assurance in European Higher Education and Learning & Teaching in Europe.
