Port of Diversity

RIJEKA 2020 was jointly founded by The City of Rijeka and the Primorje-Gorski Kotar County, for the purpose of implementing the European Capital of Culture 2020 in Croatia project. The company’s goal is to independently, efficiently and transparently perform the Rijeka 2020 – ECoC project by implementing operational, programme and communication strategies, while the infrastructural investments specified by the Bid Book will be managed by the City of Rijeka and the Primorje-Gorski Kotar County.
Rijeka 2020 is a project based not only on the cultural, but also the complete elevation of the city.
