Created in September 2007, the think tank Sport et Citoyenneté aims to promote the values of sport and campaign for their better implementation in society.

The association aims at putting forward the core values of sport in society, in the realm of politics, economics and media issues.
Sport et Citoyenneté offers a forum for new thinking and a vehicle for advocacy vis-à-vis the political and corporate as well as associative communities.
We launch reflections in order to put people in relation with others as well as to generate plans which will come to enrich the actions already existing.
To achieve its goals Sport and Citizenship relies on its scientific committee, made up of more than fifty French and Europeans scientists considered as experts in their field.
It organizes and takes part in conferences and roundtables which deal with citizenship through sport across Europe.
Each quarter a bilingual scientific journal on sport is being published in which we develop an important theme of society.

Créé en septembre 2007, le think tank Sport et Citoyenneté entend promouvoir les valeurs du sport et militer pour leur meilleure implantation dans la société.
A la fois lieu de réflexion, force de proposition et plateforme de référence pour les pouvoirs publics nationaux et européens, Sport et Citoyenneté a pour objectif d'aboutir, par une réflexion transversale et pluridisciplinaire, à un échange d'idées, à une analyse des différentes politiques et à une mise en réseau des acteurs engagés sur ces questions.
L'association s'appuie sur un comité scientifique composé de plus d'une cinquantaine d'experts, français et européens. Tous les trois mois, la revue scientifique de Sport et Citoyenneté initie le débat et la réflexion et confronte le sport à un grand thème de société.
