English Tea Shop has been a real British success story and after launching in 2010, rapidly entered 55 markets worldwide. In the UK, the company’s range of 100% organic teas and tisanes is available in retail and foodservice outlets including Selfridges, Debenhams and hotels such as The Grange, Strand Palace, and Wesley.

English Tea Shop is a pioneering company of sustainability best practices putting its employees and suppliers’ livelihoods first using the principles of value sharing. ETS is committed to generate economic value in a way that it produces value for the society. In fact, English Tea Shop won the National Business Award for Sustainability at the National Business Awards, the UK’s most esteemed nationwide business awards, which recognized English Tea Shop’s mission to change the perception that Sustainability and growth don’t mix.

ETS has its own manufacturing facility located in Colombo, Sri Lanka. Our 400-strong team there benefit from a wide range of initiatives. One scheme we are particularly proud of is The Big Game which helps to teach our team to think like business people, and offers a significant bonus based on performance.
